A dissapointing Season for THE GUNNERS

ARSENAL 'S FIRST TEAM 2006/2007

Finishing at 4th place in the Premiership with 68pts is not something to be proud of. Arsenal has had a dissapointing season this year. Trailing League leader, Manchester Utd with 21pts difference.

Bought the new Home shirt at the start of the season... hoping to wear it after every game Arsenal wins Alas, it was not worn as many times as I expected.

The new Emirates stadium is said to be one of the reason for the poor performance. This is not acceptable in my opinion... how can they blame their results on this ? Henry and Van Persie's injury has taken away Arsenal's attacking options and thus the lack of finishing in front of the goal.

Should Henry stay for the next season ? Or better still, would Henry stay ? I hope he does stick around for another season. I pray Wenger would try to bolster the defense by getting some good and more experienced defenders instead of relying on Senderos. Gallas is doing well though.

I hope Baptista will be returned to Real... he's been shooting blank all season.. except for a few fluke goals..

It would be an interesting new season ahead with Liverpool having more $$ to spend on players after the takeover by George Gillett and Tom Hicks. Benitez has hinted serious money would be needed if Liverpool should want to win any silverware next season.

It will be boring 2.5 months wait for the Premiership to start its new season.... until then

Go Gunners !!!
